Child abuse in Pakistan.

Abusing a child for one's own satisfaction is considered as a parent's right on their children. They scold, beat and torture them physically and mentally and they are not aware of the fact that by doing so they are spoiling their kid's life or most probably in some cases they are creating a monster out of their chubby little one. In most of the areas of Pakistan the superstition of beating the kids so they wont go off the track is practiced. Our mind is set to go harsh on kids physically so they would respect their parents and would do everything they are asked to do which is totally unacceptable.
Brutal violence is practiced in our schools and madrassas (especially government institutes)
by teachers and qaris who in return are never questioned. There are thousands of cases in which a child is physically and emotionally abused by a teacher and yes of course some of them go worst which involve death of a child by physical violence or severe mental stress. Some of the children by stress commit suicide or they run away from their families or teachers. There is a huge number of run away children in Pakistan. They then are used as workers, beggars and servants at houses and shops. Child labour in Pakistan is very common. Children are often seen working at garages, utility stores, hotels and other public areas with either wipers to clean the cars or newspapers to sell in their hands. They work all day long and are not given enough as they deserve.
Sexual abuse in Pakistan is also very common. And not only little girls go through this, boys also are victims of this sexual abuse which results into more exploiters as before. Its quite disturbing to know that this sexual abuse is often carried out in madrassas which of course is considered a very holy place. Children then are threatened that no one should know about all this
Even in our homes, we somehow are abusing children by not giving them the proper attention, by ignoring what they are trying to tell us and by emotionally stressing them out.
